Individual Therapy

Your first session will involve an intake interview, during which I will ask you lots of questions to get to know you better. We will work together to come to an understanding of what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of the experience. By the end of the first or second session, I will outline a recommended treatment plan. If we agree that you would benefit from continuing to work with me, then individual therapy begins. I provide evidence-based psychological treatment for anxiety and related concerns. “Evidence-based” means that the treatment options I provide are grounded in science. The techniques that I use have been studied extensively and found to be effective in managing psychological symptoms and improving your quality of life. I primarily practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based behaviour therapies to treat issues related to anxiety, perfectionism, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have a special interest in working with hoarding disorder and extreme clutter.

Session fees are $250 per 50-minute session.

Appointments are available Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.
